Man Gets Two Life Sentences For Sodomizing Child Less Than 12 Years Old

A St. Charles County jury found Richard Allen Williams guilty of two counts of statutory sodomy, child molestation, sexual misconduct and endangering a child.

A North St. Louis County man was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison after he was found guilty of sodomizing a child who was under the age of 12.

A St. Charles County jury found Richard Allen Williams, 62, guilty of two counts of statutory sodomy in the 1st degree against a child under twelve years old, one count of child molestation in the 1st degree, one count of sexual misconduct involving a child and one count of endangering the welfare of a child in the 1st degree.

Circuit Court Judge Nancy Schneider sentenced Williams to two life sentences on each sodomy charge. He also was sentenced to 15 years, four years and seven years on the molestation, sexual misconduct and endangering a child charges.

St. Charles Police said the incidents took place in St. Charles between Oct. 28, 2010 and Oct. 31, 2011, and that the Williams knew the child’s grandmother.
