St. Charles Woman Involved in Fatal Montgomery County Crash
A Kentucky man was killed in the crash Saturday afternoon.
Alyssa A. Crawford, 19, of St. Charles, was involved in a Montgomery County crash that took the life of a Kentucky man Saturday.
Crawford was driving a 1997 Toyota Camry westbound on Interstate 70 near mile marker 186 when she lost control of her vehicle and drove through the median, overturned and struck a motorcycle in the eastbound lanes.
The driver of the motorcycle, Joseph C. Wiechert, 55, of Cox's Creek, KY, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Crawford sustained minor injuries and was transported to SSM St. Joseph Hospital West.
Both drivers were wearing safety devices.
