St. Charles Couple With History of Child Endangerment Charged Again

The five-year-old was found wandering in the rain wearing only a towel.

A St. Charles couple with prior child endangerment charges have been charged again after their five-year-old autistic son was found walking around the neighborhood clothed in just a towel—in the pouring rain on a chilly March day.

St. St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported last week that John Jeffery Sahs, 55, and Kimbrela Vivian Sahs, 48, of the 2200 block of Campus Drive, have been charged with endangering the welfare of a child in the March 9 incident.

Kimbrela Sahs told police that the boy's father, John Sahs, was supposed to be watching the boy.
