Traffic Stop

  • A driver was arrested in the 1100 block of First Capitol Drive during a traffic stop on Sept. 17 because he failed to appear in court.
  • A driver was arrested for a DWI at Boone's Lick Road and Cunningham Avenue at 1:20 a.m. Sept. 18.
  • A traffic stop at South First Capitol Drive near Zumbehl Road on Sept. 18 resulted in a suspect fleeing the scene. The driver was pulled over for violating a stop sign and improper turning at an intersection.
Stealing
  • Money was stolen from a car parked in the 200 block of Shelburne Drive around 7:30 a.m. Sept. 18.
  • About $66 worth of merchandise from Walmart was reported stolen on Sept. 18.
  • A 32-year-old man reported prescription pills were taken from his residence on Pine Street by an acquaintance on Sept. 18.
  • A men's bracelet, watch and perfume were stolen from the Ameristar Casino gift shop on Sept. 18.
  • Copper wire was taken from a victim's garage between Sept. 15 and Sept. 18 on North Third Street.
  • A wallet was taken from a house in the 3500 block of Grandview Court between Sept. 17 and 18.
Protective Custody
  • A 12-year-old girl was taken into protective custody from Hardin Middle School Sept. 18.
