Police Blotter: Elderly Woman Has Purse Stolen from Shopping Cart

Indecent Exposure

  • A juvenile exposed himself to another juvenile.
Stealing
  • Police responded to a report of stealing in the 2800 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway. Radio and stereo equipment were stolen. 
  • Alcohol, valued at $34, was stolen from Hawthorne Avenue. 
  • An elderly woman momentarily left her purse in a cart at her vehicle unattended.
  • Purse was stolen by unknown, unseen person(s).
  • Shoplifting of small items from Walmart.
  • A storage unit was stolen from Walmart.
  • Theft of gasoline from 2301 Old Hwy 94. Suspect failed to return and pay after debit card declined. The suspect was identified from Missouri ID and subsequently entered in computer for stealing under $500.
  • Vehicle entered while parked on lot of apartment complex. Wallet stolen from vehicle.
  • Gas, $47 worth, was stolen. 
  • Unlocked vehicle in open garage, purse taken from interior of vehicle.

Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • A 21-year-old woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), assault third and possession of drug paraphernalia.
