History of the Victorian Tea

Are you a fan of Downton Abbey and other romantic dramas? Have you wondered what High Tea is and how the tradition originated? Looking for a unique Ladies' Day Out? Then you are invited to the Frenchtown Heritage Museum for Victorian High Tea.


The event features a presentation on the history and etiquette of High Tea, along with a delicious selection of tea, sandwiches and desserts. Admission is $7 per person and reservations are highly recommended, as seating is limited. You will also receive free admission to our Antique Quilt Exhibit.
