Peeping Tom, Stalking Charges Brought Against St. Charles Man

St. Charles Police also said the man followed a woman and looked in her window to see her partially or fully nude.

A St. Charles man faces criminal for stalking a woman and peeping in her window to see her partially or fully nude.

Timothy M. Sutton, 31, of the 200 block of Cascades Drive, was charged Thursday with two counts of second-degree invasion of privacy and one count of stalking.

said that Sutton looked in a woman’s windows on at least three occasions from July 27 through Aug. 8. Police said Sutton admitted to seeing the woman unclothed on one occasion.

A witness told police she spotted Sutton outside the woman’s St. Charles home on two occasions.

Sutton also repeatedly followed the woman and harassed her, according to the report.

Police said Sutton also was found guilty of invasion of privacy in 2004 and was convicted of stalking in 2005.

Bond was set at $75,000.
