St. Charles Police Gearing Up to Host DWI Checkpoint

A DWI checkpoint will take place from May 3 to May 5 at an undisclosed location in St. Charles.

St. Charles Police will be hosting with a DWI checkpoint in St. Charles this weekend.  From May 3 until May 5 at an undisclosed location within the the city limits of St. Charles police will be conducting a DWI checkpoint. The St. Charles County Sheriff's Department, St. Peters and St. Charles will team up to perform the checkpoint. The operation is funded by a grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation, Division of Highway and Traffic Safety.

Wedding Shopping Spree Went on Stolen Credit Card, Police Say

Police said the St. Charles woman used her real name and address at the bridal shop, and used the card at several stores to buy flowers, shoes and other items.

A St. Charles woman faces charges for using someone else’s credit cards to buy several items, including her wedding dress at a bridal shop, according to St. Peters Police. The woman used her real name and address at the bridal shop, according to a police report. Lakechia Pendleton-King, 35, of the 1200 block of Chargene Street in St. Charles, was charged March 21 with fraudulent use of a credit card and receiving stolen property. St. Peters Police said besides using the stolen credit card at David’s Bridal, 5858 Suemandy Drive in St. Peters on Jan. 23, the woman also bought items at Schnucks, DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse, Marshalls, Dillards and Walmart. Lindenwood Coach Drove Wrong Way on I-70 Before Assaulting Officers, Police Say

Kyle Friesenhahn has been placed on unpaid leave from his diving coach position until the case is settled; he also lost a part-time coaching job with Fort Zumwalt high schools.

A Lindenwood University diving coach was stopped for driving the wrong way on Interstate 70 and brought into custody before he spit at and attempted to assault officers, St. Peters Police said. Patch reported earlier that Kyle Friesenhahn, 25, of the 1000 block of Pine Street in St. Charles, was charged with assaulting a law enforcement officer. Officer Melissa Doss, spokesperson for St. Peters Police, said the department requested the St. Charles County Prosecutor’s Office to file driving while intoxicated charges against Friesenhahn. Officers stopped Friesenhahn, Lindenwood’s head diving coach, for driving westbound in the eastbound lanes on I-70 near Mid Rivers Mall on Feb. 2, Doss said. Man Accused of Sexually Trafficking a Minor Pleads to Lesser Charge

Police reported the man originally asked a woman to bring him a "12-year-old virgin" so he could have sex with her.

A man originally charged with sexual trafficking of a child under age 18 and other crimes pleaded guilty Oct. 4 to reduced charges of soliciting prostitution and drug possession. Mohammad Teimoortagh, was given a $300 fine for soliciting prostitution, a misdemeanor, and a $5,000 fine for possession of a controlled substance. On Sept. 28, a St. Charles County grand jury indicted Teimoortagh on charges of attempted sexual trafficking of a child under age 18, first-degree promoting prostitution, second-degree attempted statutory rape and possession of a controlled substance. This is a misleading story. It makes it sound like this guy actually did ask for a 12yr-old virgin. The $300 didn't have anything to do with a 12 year-old. That part was made-up by the "informant", so it's ok to get past that part. According to prosecutors & the court, he didn't ask for a 12 year-old, he simply asked for a prostitute. $300 fine. Man Indicted for Sexual Trafficking of Child Under 18

Police said the man originally asked a third party to arrange sex with a 12-year-old virgin.

A St. Charles County grand jury indicted a man on criminal charges Friday after prosecutors said he asked an informant to arrange sex for him with a 12-year-old virgin. Mohammad Teimoortagh Jr, 23, of the 3200 block of Everwood Run in St. Charles County, was indicted on the following charges: According to court documents, Teimoortagh had a face-to-face meeting with a woman whom he asked to find him a 12-year-old to have sex with him. The woman told him she could find him a 15-year-old virgin. Teimoortagh said that was too old for him, but a 14-year-old would be acceptable, St. Peters Police said. Man Hit With Chair, Choked by Assailant, Police Say

A St. Charles resident was charged with assault and trespassing.

A St. Charles man faces criminal charges after police said he hit a St. Peters man with a chair and choked him on Sept. 12. Kyle Crawford Gay, 20, of the 2000 block of Dawson Drive in St. Charles, was charged Sept. 24 with third-degree assault and first-degree trespassing. St. Peters Police said Gay unlawfully entered a home in the first block of Shadow Ridge in St. Peters. He then hit the homeowner with a 20-pound chair and choked him until he nearly passed out, according to court documents. Calling in His Own Rx Lands St Charles Man in Jail, Police Say

The man used a false name and fraudulently obtained DEA number in an attempt to get Tylenol with codeine.

A St. Charles man tried to call in his own prescription to a St. Peters pharmacy using a fake name, St. Peters Police said. Shane Keppler, 20, of the first block of Bel Rae Court in St. Charles, was charged Aug. 16 with fraudulently trying to obtain a controlled substance. St. Peters Police said Keppler called in a prescription for Tylenol with codeine to Walgreens Pharmacy at 530 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Peters. Keppler used a false name and a fraudulently obtained Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number, according to the police report. Keppler was on probation for stealing a controlled substance in 2010. Police: Employee, Girlfriend Kick Up Ruckus at Gas Station

Police said the man assaulted another employee and resisted arrest while his girlfriend from St. Charles tried to prevent his arrest.

A Fastlane employee attacked another employee July 30 at gas station at 301 Salt Lick Road in St. Peters. St. Peters Police said Douglas Hoops Jr., 19, punched the other employee in the eye, threw items at him, damaged displays and merchandise and threatened the other Fastlane employee. When police arrived, Hoops hit an officer and spit on him, according to court documents. Hoops also resisted being put in the patrol car, and the car’s window by slamming his head into it, bending the window guide, according to a police statement. Hoops’ girlfriend, Michaelle Grayson, 23, of St. Charles, arrived after the arrest and began screaming at officers, police said. Police: St. Charles Man Broke Into Wife's Apartment with Secret Key

Police said the man hit his estranged wife with a stick and stepped on her face during an argument.

A man was charged Monday with entering his estranged wife’s apartment in St. Peters. David Barbee, 49, of the 1200 block of Harvest Lane in St. Charles, was charged with first-degree burglary. St. Peters Police said Barbee used a key made without his wife’s knowledge to enter the apartment in the 200 block of Turnberry Place in St. Peters. According to a police statement, Barbee hit her with a stick in the arm and stepped on her face during an argument. Bond was set at $25,000. Judge: Stafford Not Guilty of Trespassing After Republican Caucus

St. Peters judge said the Ron Paul supporter was not given specific order or opportunity to leave the grounds.

St. Peters Municipal Court Judge Donald Kohl ruled Brent Stafford not guilty of trespassing after the March 17 St. Charles County Republican Caucus at Francis Howell North. Kohl approved a motion for acquittal by defense attorney David Roland, of the Freedom Center of Missouri. Roland cross-examined prosecution witnesses, but had not yet presented defense witnesses. “Those in authority can’t trespass unless they are specifically ordered to leave,” Kohl said while giving his ruling. “And then they have to be given an opportunity to leave.” The St. Charles County Republican Central Committee had rented out the building, and Brent Stafford was a committee member. Roland said the city had not shown that Stafford, a Central Committee member, …
