Michael Alan Nunn, 43, of the 1400 block of Carbine Lane in St. Charles, was charged Thursday with second-degree domestic assault. The assault took place at their home, police said. A St. Charles man faces criminal charges after police said he choked his girlfriend March 16 at their home. Christopher M. Nagle, 39, of the 800 block of Cunningham Avenue in St. Charles, was charged Monday with third-degree domestic assault. St. Charles Police said Nagle took his girlfriend down to the ground and used his arms to choke the woman. She told police he squeezed her neck with his arms so it was difficult for her to breathe. Nagle is being held in St. Charles County jail. Bail was set at $50,000, cash only. A bond reduction hearing was scheduled for Thursday, March 21. A St. Charles man rammed his Ford Ranger pickup into his girlfriend’s car several times Saturday as the woman tried to get away from the man with the couple’s one-year-old son, St. Charles Police said. He then got out of his truck and began punching the driver’s window in attempt to get into the car, police said. The woman, who told police she feared for her and her son’s lives, burned her tires backing away from the man, a witness told police. She pulled into an unknown person’s driveway in the 1000 block of Pine Street. She ran up to the door with her son and knocked frantically on the door, and a resident let her in and called police. A man faces charges for punching his girlfriend and then stealing her car on Monday in St. Charles. Derek A. Porter, 42, of the 1000 block of Circle Drive in St. Charles, was charged with stealing a car and third-degree domestic assault. St. Charles Police said the two argued in her car parked outside their residence, and Porter punched the woman in the mouth and pulled her hair. He then took her car without her permission to get away from officers, police said. Porter is on probation from the Missouri Department of Corrections for forgery and passing a bad check. A St. Charles man faces criminal charges after St. Charles Police said he assaulted his girlfriend Sept. 22. Louis Earl Felton, 25, of the 1700 block of Christine Drive in St. Charles, was charged Sept. 22 with third-degree domestic assault. St. Charles Police said the Felton took his girlfriend’s cell phone. When she tried to get it back, he struck her in the side and bit her, leaving teeth marks and bruising her arm, according to the police report. The woman left and locked herself in a car, but Felton was able to get inside and pushed his fist against her lip, pushing her head back, leaving a mark on her upper lip. Bail was set at $7,500.
