Crisis Nursery St. Charles recently received a $2,000 Operation Round Up grant from Cuivre River to help provide families in need with emergency living expenses.

Habitat for Humanity of St. Charles County is looking for someone to help procuring donations for the Habitat ReStore, located at 130 Trade Center Dr W St Peters, MO 63376. Volunteers would call businesses requesting donations of building materials that are sold in the thrift store. Volunteers would work 4-6 hours each week Tuesday through Thursday. Procurement volunteers will start telephoning targeted entities immediately. The objective of the phone calls is to generate donations through relationship building. Volunteers will provide individual tax returns for low to moderate income and disabled taxpayers for as few as four hours a week from February to April.
