Teen Charged with Stealing Stepfather's Pickup After Throwing Unauthorized Party
Items also came up missing after the party. The teen's boyfriend has been charged with receiving stolen property.
A St. Charles teenager was charged Friday with stealing her stepfather’s pickup truck while her boyfriend was charged in connection with the stolen pickup and receiving stolen property. Samantha Lay, 17, had a large party July 6 at her mother and stepfather’s house in the first block of Seabiscuit Drive, according to a St. Charles Police report. Lay’s boyfriend, Steven Scott, 19, of the 600 block of Sunward Drive in O’Fallon, attended the party. During the party, Scott got in a fight and caused a large amount of damage to the residence, according to the police report. Lt.
