Man Found Guilty of Molesting Child in St. Charles

Richard Allen Williams, charged with felonies relating to sexual contact with a child under age 12, was found guilty on all counts by a St. Charles County jury.

A North St. Louis County man charged with felonies relating to sexual contact with a child under age 12 was found guilty on all counts by a St. Charles County jury.  Richard Allen Williams, 61, of the 2700 block of Brouster Avenue in St. Louis County was found guilty of two counts of statutory sodomy in the 1st degree against a child under twelve years old, one count of child molestation in the 1st degree, one count of sexual misconduct involving a child and one count of endangering the welfare of a child in the 1st degree.   Join St. Charles Patch for more community news or join us on Facebook and Twitter. Man on Probation For Selling Drugs Caught With Heroin, Police Say

Marcus L. Brownlee was charged with distributing a controlled substance after St. Charles Police said they found he had six capsules of heroin on May 4.

A St. Charles man on probation since September for dealing drugs, faces another drug dealing charge after police say they caught him with heroin on May 4. Marcus L Brownlee, 25, of the 100 block of Cole Boulevard in St. Charles, was charged May 6 with distributing a controlled substance. St. Charles Police said Brownlee had six capsules containing heroin on May 4. Police said he provided a written confession that says he intended to sell the heroin. St. Charles Man Beats 79-Year-Old Mom, Breaks Bones

Daniel M. Quirk, 43, was charged with elder abuse for with attacking his mother on Monday, St. Charles Police said.

A St. Charles man hit and kicked his 79-year-old mother, breaking bones, bruising and cutting her on May 6, police said. Daniel M. Quirk, 43, of the 300 block of Oakleaf Drive in St. Charles, was charged May 7 with second-degree elder abuse. The woman needed treatment at an area hospital. St. Charles Police said Quirk, who lives with his mother, has previous domestic assault charges. Quirk is being held in St. Charles County jail. Bail was set at $50,000, cash only, and he is to have no contact with his mother. He pleaded guilty to third-degree domestic assault and tampering with a vehicle in 2010. He was given a suspended sentence and placed on probation in December 2010. Quirk’s probation was suspended a month later. For more crime …

St. Charles Man Indicted on Two Counts of Domestic Assault

St. Charles Police said Ali Hadi Abaalharith, in the country on a student visa, beat his former girlfriend twice within seven months.

A St. Charles County grand jury indicted a man Friday on two counts of second-degree domestic assault. Ali Hadi Abaalharith, 26, of the 300 block of Scenic Drive in St. Charles, is accused of beating his then girlfriend on two occasions. St. Charles Police said Abaalharith on April 7, 2012 struck the woman repeatedly in the face, head and legs and choked her for at least 30 seconds. Then, police said he struck the same woman with a leather belt, a computer power cord, grabbed her cell phone and tried to restrict her to the bedroom. Abaalharith is from Saudi Arabia and is in the United States on a student visa. Probation for St. Charles Man That Fractured Man's Jaw Over Cell Phone Argument

Dominic Ewing was placed on five years probation after pleading guilty to second-degree assault.

A 19-year-old who fractured a man’s jaw with a punch on Feb. 20 pleaded guilty April 26 to second-degree assault. St. Charles County Circuit Court Judge Ted House suspended sentencing April 26 and placed Dominic Ewing on five years probation. Ewing, of the first block of Buckingham Place in St. Charles, also must have no contact with the victim, pay restitution within two years, go through any recommended substance abuse treatment and maintain full-time job or education. St. Charles Police said Ewing was upset over the whereabouts of his cell phone, so he lured the man to a secluded parking lot at 1700 block of North 4th Street in St. Charles. Man Charged With Series of Burglaries at Storage Facilities

A Maryland Heights man is accused of breaking into a series of storage areas and travel trailers at facilities in Wentzville and St. Charles. David Kellerman, 40, of the 2100 block of Butterfield Drive in Maryland Heights, was charged Wednesday with two counts of first-degree property damage in St. Charles. He was charged Friday with four counts of second-degree burglary, three counts of property damage, two counts of felony stealing (more than $500) and three counts of misdemeanor stealing in Wentzville. Maryland Heights Police arrested Kellerman Monday. Bomb Threat Made By 38-Year-Old Student Hoping to Ditch Class

Lori Knight called Lindenwood University Wednesday and told an operator her brother planned to bomb the campus that evening, but did not give her name or her brother's name, St. Charles Police said.

A Lindenwood University student phoned in a bomb threat because she wasn’t ready for class that evening, St. Charles Police said. Lori Knight, 38, of the 5500 block of Lansdowne Avenue in South St. Louis, was charged Thursday with making a terrorist threat. St. Charles Police said Knight called Lindenwood University’s St. Charles campus Wednesday with a blocked telephone number and told an operator that her brother planned to bomb the university that evening. St. Charles Police determined there was no credible threat to students. The university’s telecommunications department contacted Charter Phone Company and retrieved the blocked telephone number, according to court records. A DWI checkpoint will take place from May 3 to May 5 at an undisclosed location in St. Charles.

St. Charles Police will be hosting with a DWI checkpoint in St. Charles this weekend.  From May 3 until May 5 at an undisclosed location within the the city limits of St. Charles police will be conducting a DWI checkpoint. The St. Charles County Sheriff's Department, St. Peters and St. Charles will team up to perform the checkpoint. The operation is funded by a grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation, Division of Highway and Traffic Safety.

Man Found in Closed Church Tells Police He Needed Restroom

Sean Michael Moore, of St. Charles, was charged with burglary after he was found inside the CrossWay Church at 3:30 a.m.

A St. Charles man who told police he stopped to use the restroom faces a criminal charge for entering a St. Charles church at about 2:56 a.m. Thursday. St. Charles Police said a burglar alarm was activated about that time at CrossWay Church at 420 Hemsath. The church’s pastor came to re-set the alarm at about 3:24 a.m. and found an unlocked door at the church, police said. As he drove around the building, he saw a man inside the building. The pastor later identified a man police arrested outside the church, Sean Michael Moore, as the man he saw inside the building, according to a court document. A St. Charles man broke a beer bottle over his ex-girlfriend’s head Thursday, cutting her face and head in three places. One three-inch-long gash was deep enough to cause underlying fatty tissue to protrude, according to a court document. Michael Alan Nunn, 43, of the 1400 block of Carbine Lane in St. Charles, was charged Thursday with second-degree domestic assault. The assault took place at their home, police said. He and his ex-girlfriend live together, according to a police report.
