St. Charles County Police say Robert Devine assaulted his fiancé by pushing her to the ground, hitting her in the face and shutting a door on her leg, which had recently been through a knee-replacement surgery.
A man faces domestic abuse charges after St. Charles County deputies said he bloodied his fiance’s nose on May 10. Robert G. Devine, 55, of the 3300 block of Cross Keys Drive in Florissant, was charged Friday with third-degree domestic assault. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said Devine was arguing with his fiancé in the 3500 block of Ipswich Lane in St. Charles County when he pushed her into a wall and a desk, cutting her arm. He then struck her in the face, giving her a bloody nose, the deputy reported. The woman fell and tried to get up, but Devine pushed her back down and pulled her hair, according to a report. St. Charles County Sheriff's Department officials said Timothy Sean McDonough found the unlocked vehicle with the keys in the ignition and a debit card inside.
A Lindenwood University student stole a car while walking back to campus after a night of drinking with friends on Main Street, St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department officials said. Timothy Sean McDonough, 19, of Belton, was charged Friday with tampering with a motor vehicle and fraudulent use of a credit device. A St. Charles County Sheriff's deputy reported McDonough was walking back to campus from a bar on Main Street at about 1:30 a.m. on Feb. 20 when he realized he was lost. McDonough told police he panicked because it was getting cold, so he checked a 2009 GMC Yukon to see if it was unlocked. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys were in the ignition. St. Charles County Sheriff's Department officials said his father made him vacate his apartment due to his drinking and aggressive behavior.
A man broke his father’s apartment window and damaged his truck with a landscaping rock after the father refused to allow him inside his home. Joseph Gilliam, 27, was charged April 15 with first-degree property damage. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said Gilliam’s father told him he had his son leave the residence in the first block of Fairway Circle because of his son’s drinking and aggressive behavior. The apartment is in St. Charles County near St. Charles. When his father refused to let him inside, Gilliam threw a landscaping rock through the apartment window, according to a court document. A St. Charles County man is accused of holding a firearm and threatening to shoot “anything and everything” if his wife left their home Monday, not caring if there were children or other adults outside. Scott Thomas Eissler, 52, of the 300 block of Wind Chime Lane near St. Charles, was charged Monday with unlawful use of a weapon. St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department officials said that after arguing with his wife Monday, Eissler unlocked a coded gun safe and took out a .357 Magnum revolver. Two men were arrested following a concert at the Family Arena in St. Charles April 8 after struggling with officers in the parking lot. Following the El Trono de Mexico concert at the arena, a St. Charles County Sheriff's deputy said he saw Nicolas Meza-Lopez, 24, throw a beer at a wall and shove a female Family Arena employee in the chest. The officer said he pursued him out of the Family Arena, where Meza-Lopez turned around, thumped his chest and began struggling with the officer. A St. Charles County man faces criminal charges for assaulting his girlfriend on two consecutive days. Christerpher Lee Moore, 29, of the 2800 block of South River Road south of St. Charles, was charged Thursday with two counts of third-degree domestic assault. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said Moore grabbed his girlfriend at the top of some stairs on March 2 and jerked her as if he were going to throw her down the stairs. Davit, 66, was charged Tuesday with first-degree trespassing and third-degree assault. A St. Charles County man faces a second methamphetamine charge about five months after a meth lab exploded on his property near Wentzville, burning a woman and setting fire to his barn. Dale Lenze Sr., 53, was charged Jan. 31 with attempt to manufacture a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Two men were indicted by a St. Charles grand jury Jan. 18 on second-degree assault charges related to a jailhouse attack on another man. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department report said that Robert E. Martin II, 39, and Steven T. Scott, 20, attacked another inmate in the St. Charles County Justice Center, 200 North Second St., on April 5. Scott lives in the 100 block of Bear Claw Drive in Wentzville; Martin lives in the 2000 block of Santa Fe Street in St. Charles.
