St. Charles Police Chief Search Narrows
Committee brought in three candidates for interviews and tours of the city, including current Interim Police Chief Larry Stulce.
The search for a new police chief for St. Charles has narrowed to three candidates and is expected to wrap up before the end of the year. Final candidates include Larry Stulce, who is serving as interim police chief for St. Charles, Iowa City Police Chief Sam Hargadine and Bloomington Police Chief Randall McKinley. More than 45 people applied for the position, which was vacated in April. "We've got three good candidates and the committee is meeting and we're evaluating and doing some normal HR processes and getting on with it," said Mayor Sally Faith. Why would we hire from out of state?? St Louis crime is scary one of the worst in the nation what do these out of towners know about keeping it across the bridge?? And it'll cost way more to relocate them when Stulce is local and he knows the St Charles problem areas. seems like a waste of time and taxpayer money to look elsewhere   more ›
