Man Charged With Series of Burglaries at Storage Facilities

David Kellerman is charged with breaking into storage areas and trailers kept at facilities in Wentzville and St. Charles.

A Maryland Heights man is accused of breaking into a series of storage areas and travel trailers at facilities in Wentzville and St. Charles. David Kellerman, 40, of the 2100 block of Butterfield Drive in Maryland Heights, was charged Wednesday with two counts of first-degree property damage in St. Charles. He was charged Friday with four counts of second-degree burglary, three counts of property damage, two counts of felony stealing (more than $500) and three counts of misdemeanor stealing in Wentzville. Maryland Heights Police arrested Kellerman Monday. Man Smashes Father's Apartment WIndow and Truck Windshield, Deputy Says

St. Charles County Sheriff's Department officials said his father made him vacate his apartment due to his drinking and aggressive behavior.

A man broke his father’s apartment window and damaged his truck with a landscaping rock after the father refused to allow him inside his home. Joseph Gilliam, 27, was charged April 15 with first-degree property damage. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said Gilliam’s father told him he had his son leave the residence in the first block of Fairway Circle because of his son’s drinking and aggressive behavior. The apartment is in St. Charles County near St. Charles. When his father refused to let him inside, Gilliam threw a landscaping rock through the apartment window, according to a court document. Man Opts to Fight Officer Instead of Picking Up Beer Can, Police Say

The St. Charles police officer asked him to pick up a beer can he threw down in a Second Street alley, according to a report. The man also is accused of kicking out a patrol car's window.

A man who refused to pick up a beer can he threw down in an alley behind Second Street opted instead to throw down with a St. Charles officer, according to a police report. He ended up kicking out a window and damaging a door inside a St. Charles police car, the officer said. Ryan Burrows, 26, was charged Thursday with third-degree assaulting an officer, resisting arrest and second-degree property damage. Court records indicated Burrows is homeless. St. Charles Police said the officer saw Burrows throw down a beer can in the alley behind 723 North Second Street. Man Keeps Violating Protection Order, Police Say

St. Charles Police said the man uprooted a tree and damaged a railing at the home of a woman who is under the protective order.

A man uprooted a tree and damaged a porch railing Nov. 24 while violating a protection order that bans him from a home in the 500 block of Crown Passage Drive, St. Charles Police said. David Lee Shrum, 53, of the first block of Wilbert Drive in St. Charles County north of St. Peters, was charged Monday with violating a protection order. St. Charles Police reported that Shrum damaged the railing and uprooted a tree in a backyard in the 500 block of Crown Passage in St. Charles. Police said he knew was important to the woman who lived there. Officers said Shrum has continually violated the protection order issued against him and said he has no intent of stopping the behavior. Man Rampages in Home and Squad Car, Police Say

A St. Charles man threw dishes, damaged furniture and screamed; when deputies arrested him, he spit at and threatened them and damaged the police vehicle, according to a report.

A St. Charles man damaged bedroom furniture, dishes and a patrol car after officers responded to the scene Monday. Kenneth Hart, of the 3600 block of Fairview Drive in St. Charles, began throwing things throughout the house, knocking over furniture and yelling Monday, said a St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy. His girlfriend, who owns the broken items, fled from the home because she feared for her safety, the deputy said. As officials were arresting Hart, he spit at one deputy and threatened him. Hart said, “All I have to do is kill one (expletive) pig and I can be with the rest of my family in prison,” according to a court document. Police Reports: Mailboxes Knocked Down at 10 Homes

St. Charles Police Reports are provided by St. Charles Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.  Several mailboxes were damaged overnight around 2 a.m. July 12 in neighborhoods off of Hemsath Road and Friedens Road.  In each of the nine reported incidents, the brick structure surrounding the mailbox was pushed over and broken on impact with the ground. Mailboxes at one home on Montclair Manor Drive, four houses on Bentley Ridge Ct., one on Eagles Spur Ct, one on Eagle Forest Drive, one on Ashley Place Ct. and two on Ashley Woods Drive were damaged.  Fugitive Arrests Peace Disturbance  Property Damage Stealing  Assault

Man Charged with Kicking Out Patrol Car Window, Spitting on Officer

Cost to repair damages to the St. Charles Police car were more than $750.

A St. Charles man was charged Thursday with kicking out a patrol car window and spitting at a police officer. Dennis Ruiz, 37, of the 200 block of Booneslick Road, faces charges of assaulting a police officer and first-degree property damage charges. In court documents, St. Charles Police said Ruiz had been arrested and placed in the back of a patrol car Tuesday, when he kicked out the rear passenger window, bending the the window frame.
