Three Injured in Multi-Car Crash

The crash took place just before 4 p.m. on Interstate 70 in St. Peters.

Three people were injured in a three-car crash Thursday afternoon in St. Peters.  According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, two cars were stopped for traffic ahead on westbound Interstate 70 just east of Mid Rivers Mall Drive just before 4 p.m.. A third vehicle, a 2011 Ford F-250 driven by Gary Sexton, 51, of St. Peters, failed to stop and struck the rear of another vehicle, a 2007 Chevrolet F-150 driven by James R. Todd, 27, of O'Fallon. The impact of the crash caused Todd's truck to collide with the first car, a 2001 Mercury Sable driven by Timothy S. Jackson, 22, of St. Charles.  Sexton and Todd were uninjured in the crash and both were able to drive their vehicles from the scene.  Jackson and two passengers …

St. Charles Teen Charged After Stealing Prescription Medication

Alex Michael Stigall, 18, of St. Peters, and Jermel Ramonte Higgins, 18, of St. Charles, were arrested after police say the stole medication from a victim's hand as she was leaving an O'Fallon store.

Two teens were arrested by O'Fallon Police for stealing medication from a person at in the 1300 block of Highway K. According to a release from the O'Fallon Police Department, Alex Michael Stigall, 18, of St. Peters, and Jermel Ramonte Higgins, 18, of St. Charles, were arrested after police say the stole medication from a victim's hand just before 5 p.m. on May 8. Police said the two teens sat in the store listening to customers fill prescriptions so they could steal medication.  Police said the two teens followed the victim out of the store and one of the subjects ripped the medication from her hand and ran toward a car.  The St Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on Stigall, for Physically Take Property …

Unlimited Play Inc. Hosts 'Play Day for All' at Jaycee Park in St. Charles

Play date is Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to noon at 2805 Elm St.

Full-disclosure: O'Fallon Patch Editor Jordan Lanham serves on the board of Unlimited Play Young Professionals.  Families are invited to a play date in the park on Saturday, April 20.  Now that spring is in full swing, Unlimited Play Inc. is hosting one of its first "play dates for all" at the new all-inclusive Discovery Playground at Jaycee Park in St. Charles.  The non-profit that got its start with the dream of one O'Fallon mom, now helps communities across the country build playgrounds that are accessible for children with and without disabilities.  Discovery Park in St. Charles is the fourth in the St. Louis region that Unlimited Play helped raise funds to build The playground has a water play section, sun shades and metal slides …

St. Charles Man Injured In Three-Car Crash on Highway 94

Nicholas R. Montileone sustained minor injuries in a crash last week.

A St. Charles motorist was injured following a three-vehicle crash early Thursday morning last week.  Nicholas R. Montileone, 21, of St. Charles, was taken by St. Charles County Ambulance to  St. Joseph Health Center with what the Missouri State Highway Patrol classified as minor injuries after the crash on Highway 94. The crash took place at 7:46 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, in St. Charles County.  According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Montileone was heading eastbound on Highway 94 when he struck the rear of a second a vehicle, a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Jessica L. Locke, 26, of O'Fallon. Montileone's 2001 Toyota Celica then traveled off the left side of the roadway, returned to the roadway and hit the rear of a 2007 Dodge…

@Nicole - I'm sorry, I didn't address cool-downs. Here's my two cents. Your heart rate is going to return to its resting state on its own. In my opinion it doesn't really need you to slow down your work out to accomplish that. I will say this though, if your workout consisted heavily of muscle training or if you performed your reps to exhaustion, make sure you stretch those muscles afterward. On …   more ›
