Eleven Suspended Following Fight at St. Charles West

Charges have not yet been filed in the fray involving students from Ferguson-Florissant School District.

Eleven St. Charles West students have been suspended following a fight at the school on Friday involving several teens not from the St. Charles School District.  "These were high school aged kids,"said St. Charles School District superintendent Jeff Marion. "It started out as a typical high school beef and got bigger when people jumped in to help friends." The fight started on social media, Marion said. A student from St. Charles West and a student from the Ferguson-Florissant School District kept talking about whom could beat up whom, he said.  On Friday, two students from St. Charles West -- a junior and a senior -- can be seen on school cameras letting in four people in through a side door in the auxiliary gym around 2:20 p.m. Friday, …

Six Arrested as Non-Students Enter, Start a Fight at St. Charles West High School

Four adults and two juveniles were arrested for their part in a fight at St. Charles West High School Friday afternoon. Police say a group of non-students entered the school to start the fight.

St. Charles Police are investigating an assualt at St. Charles West High School, where a group of people not associated with the school entered the premises during dismissal time to start a fight on Friday. According to a city release, the fight occurred and two St. Charles School District employees were assaulted while attemting to de-escelate the fight.  Four adults and two juveniles have been taken into custody. One juvenile was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  St. Charles Patch will add to this article as more information is revealed.

Ron Paul Supporters, St. Charles County GOP Chairman Scuffle Before Trespassing Trial

Republican Chairman Eugene Dokes said a group of Ron Paul supporters shoved and hit his wife; St. Peters Police say it's unclear who started the skirmish.

Ron Paul supporters scuffled with St. Charles County Central Republican Chairman Eugene Dokes and his wife Tuesday morning before a St. Peters municipal trial. Brent Stafford fought a trespassing charge in St. Peters municipal court Tuesday morning. The charge stems from an arrest after the St. Charles County Republican Caucus March 17. Stafford, a Ron Paul supporter, said the caucus was improperly shut down. Stafford said he was trying to legally reconvene the caucus on the Francis Howell North High School parking lot when he was arrested. St. Peters Police Community and Media Relations Officer Melissa Doss said four protesters were near the St. Peters Justice Center before and during Tuesday’s trial, and some were carrying Eugene …

isnt this the guy (Dokes) who purportedly , while in the NAVY, shot himself in the foot to keep from deploying to a combat zone..... lied about the circumstances of being shot and is now collecting veterans disability payments..... im not sure i want to vote for someone who left their shipmates , during a period of conflict, under shady circumstances.   more ›

Man Charged with Pulling Knife in Argument on North Main

Police said the man threatened the victim and law enforcement.

A Troy man was charged with unlawful use of a weapon after an incident Saturday on North Main Street in St. Charles. St. Charles Police said in report that Patrick White, 40, of Troy, started an argument with the victim and pursued him to his work place at 335 North Main St. White threatened the man with a knife and challenged him to fight, police said. When police arrived, White fled and threw the knife across the street, according to the report. White also was belligerent with medical personnel and threatened police officers, according to the report. Bond was set at $20,000 cash only.
