Artist to Perform With Trio and String Quartet.
Many people would rather not hear holiday music until after Thanksgiving. Singer Erin Bode starts listening to Christmas songs in October. "I usually start a little earlier than most people," she said. "Both for the purposes of preparing our Christmas repertoire, I'll start listening usually in October. Just for fun, I like to put it on sometimes when I'm working around the house or doing some office work." The Erin Bode Group will join a classical string quartet led by St. Louis Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster David Halen for an 8 p.m. holiday concert Dec. 10 at the Foundry Art Centre.
