According to the "St. Louis Post-Distpatch," county police will step up DWI enforcement in mid-December.
As you plan out your holiday party schedule this season, make sure you have a designated sober driver. According to the Suburban Journal, the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department will be out on the streets conducting a Holiday DWI checkpoint campaign from Dec. 10-16, in an effort to reduce alcohol related crashes. St. Charles Police reports May 5-8. The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.
A 35-year-old man was reportedly assaulted at his Colonial Hills residence in St. Charles at 1:52 a.m. on May 6. According to the report, the female suspect arrived at the father of her child's residence and barged in upon the door opening. A scuffle ensued and the suspect cut the father's left wrist with a glass horn. The suspect then engaged the victim's female guest with a frying pan, which was wrestled away and used against the suspect. The suspect left the scene and threw a car stereo at the father's vehicle, smashing the windshield. She was charged with assault with physical injury, trespassing and property damage. St. Charles Police Reports May 2-4. The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A 21-year-old man was reportedly robbed after leaving a bar in the 140 block of North Main Street around 1 a.m. May 4. The man left the bar after exchanging words with someone and tried to return to his vehicle. He was attacked by four males in the alley between Quintessential and R.T. Weiler's.
