A St. Charles man on probation since September for dealing drugs, faces another drug dealing charge after police say they caught him with heroin on May 4. Marcus L Brownlee, 25, of the 100 block of Cole Boulevard in St. Charles, was charged May 6 with distributing a controlled substance. St. Charles Police said Brownlee had six capsules containing heroin on May 4. Police said he provided a written confession that says he intended to sell the heroin. St. Charles County Drug Task Force members said Gregory Roy Steed, a documented gang member, sold drugs to an undercover officer on South Fifth Street three times in April.
A St. Louis man faces drug dealing charges after St. Charles County Drug Task Force members said he sold heroin and crack cocaine to an undercover officer in St. Charles. Gregory Roy Steed, 23, of the 1100 block of Hickory Street in the city of St. Louis, was charged April 24 with four counts of distributing a controlled substance. An undercover officer with the Drug Task Force said Steed sold him heroin three times, once each on April 8, April 16 and April 23 at a gas station in the 1600 block of South Fifth Street in St. Charles. He said Steed also sold him crack cocaine April 23. The couple sold heroin to a man who took the drug and overdosed, dying July 31, Drug Task Force detectives said.
A St. Charles couple was indicted for involuntary manslaughter after law enforcement officials said they sold heroin to a man, who overdosed and died July 31. A St. Charles County grand jury reached decisions to hold both over for trial. Thomas Lucas, 23, and Whitney M. Patrick, 23, both of the 200 block of Ameristar Boulevard in St. Charles, also were indicted on two counts of distributing a controlled substance. St. Charles County Drug Task Force detectives said Jemil Ely, 23, gave Lucas and Patrick $50 for five doses of heroin. Lucas then bought eight heroin doses in the city of St. Louis on July 30. A man sold an undercover officer marijuana and an ecstasy tablet Oct. 18, according to a St. Charles County Drug Task Force detective. Jacob James Hampton, 19, of the 800 block of San Miguel Drive in unincorporated St. Charles County near St. Charles, was charged Thursday with distributing a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. An undercover officer said Hampton sold him seven grams of marijuana and an ecstasy pill for $140 Oct. 18 at Hampton’s home, which is off Veterans Memorial Parkway. A St. Charles man faces drug charges after St. Charles County Drug Task Force detectives said he sold crack cocaine to an undercover officer. Orlando Holts, 41, of the first block of Sugar Maple Lane in St. Charles, was charged Sept. 13 with two counts of distributing a controlled substance. Drug Task Force detectives said in a report that Orlando sold an undercover officer crack cocaine for $110 on Sept. 10 and again on Sept. 12. Both times the transactions were at Holts’ apartment, according to the report. Holts was on probation for first-degree robbery and armed criminal action, detectives said.
