Greater St. Charles Chamber Stages 5k Race on Page Avenue Extension
The “Turning the Page -Reflections on Progress” 5k race will start at 9 p.m. Aug. 25.
Runners and walkers will have a chance to check out phase two of the Page Avenue Extension before it opens. The Greater St. Charles Chamber of Commerce is hosting a night run Aug. 25 on the new six-mile section of road from Harvester Road to Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Peters. City leaders and Missouri Department of Transportation Officials plan to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 30. Races have been held to celebrate the opening of other major roads including phase one of the Page Avenue Extension, the reopening of Highway 40 and, most recently, the Highway 141 extension.
