Counselors assist clients by helping them find their strengths and interests in order to develop goals. Clients have to be at least 16 to apply and can be referred by anyone.

Emmaus Homes is a nonprofit organization that provides residential services to adults who have physical and cognitiveMore disabilities. The St. Charles Campus contains the administrative offices. Residents who live on site have opportunities to participate in the Senior and Adult Services Program, which gives them a range of activities in which they can participate, ranging from Bible study to social time to arts and crafts. Activities planned on weekends are open to community members. 

More than seventy people live on campus and another eighty-five live offsite.
