Wonderful place for area students who want to get away from home without being too far. It's also a good step up from high school without jumping headfirst into a larger school like Mizzou. The course content is a perfect mix of easily handled to decently challenging, which is great for keeping a person on their toes. The sheer number of new buildings, services and plans being put into place for LU is great - I wish I was younger so I could stay and enjoy them.
The art program is wonderfully intense - The professors demand much of you, but as there are few (incredibly highly skilled) professors, one gets to know them quite well. This is incredible, as it allows the professors to truly work with a student long-term to help enhance their skills and ability.
The MBA program is fabulous - Early Access allows students to get a head start in classes while they're still an undergrad, for free.
The professors are, for the most part, understanding, knowledgeable and friendly - Every person I know has a "teacher-friend", that one professor that they've really bonded with to form a good, lasting friendship.
The staff are wonderful as well. Because of the size, response is usually prompt, whether it is a concern or a request.
The rules concerning dorm visitation are usually considered to be a huge drawback for students...But isn't one going to school to learn, rather than use it as a social scene?
Overall, I wouldn't trade my experiences here for anything.
