The Greater St. Charles Convention & Visitor's Bureau is the place for out-of-town visitors to stop for brochures, maps and advice on what to see and where to go. The bureau offers tour guides to organized groups and rents iPods that have pre-programmed walking tours of the downtown area.
Carol Felzien, public relations manager for the city of St. Charles, said the mission of the bureau is to ensure people who visit the city have a positive experience.
