Wyman Center will host the 33rd Annual Wyman Golf Tournament on August 19, 2013 to enable St. Louis teens from low-resource environments to thrive in life, work and learning.

Presented by Kirberg Company; American Family Insurance, Bill Voss Agency, Inc.; and the South Side Lions, the tournament will welcome over 200 golfers to Whitmoor Country Club in St. Charles for a competitive golf tournament, followed by dinner and silent and oral auctions.

Funds raised from the tournament enable teens in Wyman programs to overcome the odds and achieve grade level advancement on time, graduate high school, go on to college or careers, and develop a sense of responsibility for themselves and their communities.

Wyman board member and event co-chair John Myers said, “My co-chair Kyle Lopez and I were proud to be offered the chance to lead such a significant event benefitting Wyman teens. With 32 years of success at our backs, we are working hard to deliver a fun, fast-play tournament that adds significantly to the cumulative $3.1 million the tournament has already generated for Wyman teens.”

The silent auction is mobile and is open to the public, offering exciting trip packages, sporting events, priceless experiences, decadent wine and meals, and more! Register to bid at www.wymancenter.org/golf starting August 12th.

Over 115 years, Wyman has continued learning and adapting to create positive, long-term impact in teens’ lives and communities. In addition to providing programs to over 1,400 teens from disadvantaged circumstances in St. Louis, annually, Wyman supports partner organizations to replicate Wyman programs nationwide. Today, more than 30,000 teens in 115 communities across 33 states are transformed through Wyman programs.
