Receptionist Needed at Five Acres Animal Shelter

Do you like cats or dogs and have some free time?  Currently, there are openings for phone volunteers at Five Acres Animal Shelter! Our phone volunteers are an integral part of our team and our mission, working with the public to benefit both our shelter and community education goals. We prefer a phone volunteer who can be here for a minimum of 2 hours at a time, but the schedule is flexible. , formerly the St. Charles Humane Society was founded in 1973 by a small group of individuals dedicated to animal welfare.  We are the only no kill shelter in St. Charles County and do not receive government funding.  Therefore, we rely greatly on volunteers to help with many essential tasks, which means we need dedicated volunteers to answer the phones and answer questions about our shelter and our animals along with general questions like what to do about lost or found animals. Training is provided.  Email Brittany Brombough for more information volunteer@fiveacresanimalshelter.org.
