Special Ragtime Concert

Special Ragtime Concert

This is not happening in St. Charles, but I have seen this incredible family play and Trebor Tichenor of the St. Louis Ragtimers is a legend in the national ragtime scene.  (I used to be the site administrator at the Scott Joplin House SHS)

If you have not seen him or his family perform, this is a golden opportunity.  His daughter, Virginia and her husband, Marty Eggers are west coast ragtime phenoms.  His son, Andrew, is following in his Dad's footsteps.

Don't miss this RARE opportunity to hear America's First Family of Ragtime, Trebor, Andrew, and Virginia Tichenor, and Marty Eggers, making music as only they can, for one afternoon only, here in St. Louis.

The concert is from 2-4pm, on Tuesday, April 24th, in the New Rosebud Cafe, at the Scott Joplin House State Historic Site, 2658 Delmar, one block WEST of Jefferson in St. Louis.  There is plenty of parking and it is a great little venue.

Tickets are only $20, and may be reserved simply by emailing info@friendsofscottjoplin.org, and telling us your name and how many tickets you would like to reserve.  Payment for reserved tickets, by cash or check, may be made at the door.
