  • How long have you been with Mount Pleasant Estates? 10 fantastic years.
  • Explain your day-to-day responsibilities: Stocking inventory, taking inventory and serving and educating customers  about wine.
  • What did you do before working in the wine industry? I ran the recreation complex in Queeny Park.
  • What is the best part of your job? Convincing sweet wine drinkers that they will enjoy “off dry “ wine.
  • And, the worst part? Trying to convince sweet wine drinkers that they will enjoy “off dry” wines.
  • What is something you have learned while working at Mount Pleasant Estates?  I don’t know everything.
  • If you weren’t working at a winery, what would you do? Work at a golf course.
  • What’s your favorite wine to recommend to Mount Pleasant guests? Tawny Port, it’s the bomb!
  • Which of your current wines is your favorite and why? The Cabernet Sauvignon, I love the cedar nose.
  • When you’re not drinking Mount Pleasant wine, what are you drinking? Almost anything that’s dry and red. Rodney Strong, Quickfire, Simi Cabernets and a Sicilia Nero d’ Avola are mostly what I’m enjoying.
  • On your day off, what do you like to do? I’ll hang with my beautiful wife or do something with our six grandchildren, you know the pool, baseball and soccer games.
  • Anything else we should know about you? I'm a retired snowbird who loves the Gulf beaches and hates snow.
