Untreated mulch created from May 31 storm tree debris available to the public starting June 24

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO – Due to the overwhelming amount of mulch made from storm tree debris, the St. Charles County Highway Department is giving away the material to the public starting Monday, June 24. The mulch has not been treated for termites or other bugs, and interested individuals and parties must be able to load and haul the material.

The mulch will be available from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. weekdays at the following locations on a first come, first served basis until it is gone:

·         St. Charles County Highway Department facilities at 3890 Greens Bottom Road in St. Charles, and at 7101 Highway 94 (south of Highway 40/61) in St. Charles.

·         Family Arena, 2002 Arena Parkway in St. Charles.
