St. Charles County Government has received this honor every fiscal year since 1989. The CAFR has been judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, including demonstrating a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the CAFR.

“St. Charles County Government prides itself on sound financial planning and controlled spending of taxpayer dollars. This achievement is an honor for the Finance Department and for County government as a whole,” said Steve Ehlmann, St. Charles County Executive.
