St. Charles Chill and St. Charles County set free Open Ice Skate Nights at the Family Arena Dec. 31, Jan. 5 and 10

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO -  To celebrate the New Year, the St. Charles Chill and St. Charles County invite the public to free Open Ice Skate Nights at the Family Arena, 2002 Arena Parkway, St. Charles, MO. Following are dates and times:

·  Dec. 31, 2013, 9 p.m. – 1 a.m. Attendees can bring their own ice skates, and the St. Charles Chill will provide free ice skate rentals.

·  Jan. 5, 2014, 7 p.m. – 11 p.m. Attendees must bring their own ice skates.

·  Jan. 10, 2014, 9 p.m. – 1 a.m. Attendees must bring their own ice skates.

Entry into the Family Arena for the open ice skates will take place at Gates 1 and 2 a half hour before the open ice skate start times. Guests attending the St. Charles Chill games on all three dates are welcome to stay after the games and participate in the open ice skates. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that ice hockey and other sports equipment is not allowed on the ice.

Attendees can meet St. Charles Chill hockey players and Shiver the Mascot during the Dec. 31 and Jan. 10 skates. A concession stand featuring hot chocolate, pretzels and more will be open during each open ice skate.

Tickets to the St. Charles Chill games start at $5 and are available at the Family Arena box office or at metrotix.com
