Portion of Gutermuth Road to Close June 11-13 for Pipe Work

St. Charles County, Missouri - A portion of Gutermuth Road will be closed by the St. Charles County Highway Department beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, and continuing through Friday, June 13, 2014, to allow for installation of a culvert pipe to improve drainage under the road. The entire road will be re-opened Friday, June 13, 2014, by 4:30 p.m. The construction area for the pipe crossing is located approximately 1,500’ west of Motherhead Road.

No through traffic will be allowed through the area of the pipe replacement. Motorists may use Route N or Westwood/Route 94 to get around the closure area. Signs notifying motorists of the closure and detour route will be posted.

This construction is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the county’s road system for the safety of the community.
