St. Charles County, Missouri – The St. Charles County Highway Department is announcing the temporary closure of Pitman Hill Road between Windcastle Drive/Summit Ridge Place and Pitman Trails beginning Wednesday, June 25, 2014. The closure, which is expected to last six weeks, is a continuation of the effort to reconstruct Pitman Hill Road between Windcastle/Summit Ridge and Greens Bottom Road.

No through traffic will be allowed through the closure area. Motorists are advised to use Caulks Hill Road to detour around the construction during the closure. Signs notifying motorists of the closure will be posted.

This construction is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the county’s road system for the safety of the community.
