Honoring those who served: Memorial Day Program to be held at St. Charles County's Historic Courthouse May 26

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO - The St. Charles County Veterans Committee and St. Charles City Veterans Commission will host their annual Memorial Day Program on Monday, May 26, 1 p.m., on the grounds of the St. Charles County’s Historic Courthouse/Executive Office Building, 100 N. Third St., St. Charles. The event is free and open to the public.

Master of Ceremonies Jerry Bradley of Marine Corps League Detachment 725 will lead the following program:

·  Musical Prelude – St. Charles City Municipal Band

·  Presentation of Colors – David Hodge, Officer of the Day, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2866

·  National Anthem –  TBD

·  Pledge of Allegiance – Cathy Perrine, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 458

·  Invocation – Rich Middendorf, Chaplain, American Legion Post 312

·  Welcome –  St. Charles County Executive Steve Ehlmann

·  Welcome –  St. Charles Mayor Sally Faith

·  Musical Selection – St. Charles City Municipal Band

·  Moment of Silence

·  Roll Call of Departed Veterans –
