ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO – The St. Charles County Highway Department will close Caulks Hill Road on Tuesday, Nov. 12, weather permitting, between Georgian Oaks Drive and Lakeview Drive to allow for continued construction of the new Caulks Hill Road improvements. Before this section closes, the section of Caulks Hill Road between Georgian Oaks Drive and Bluff Forest Lane will reopen Nov. 12, weather permitting.

Traffic will be required to use the signed detour route for approximately seven weeks while the new road section is being built. Local traffic can access either side of the closure location, but no through traffic will be permitted. Motorists can access Caulks Hill Road using Towers Road to Pitman Hill Road to Greens Bottom Road. Signs notifying motorists of the closure and the necessary detours will be posted. The county will be using changeable message boards to notify residents of any date changes of the closure and opening.
