“Caulks Hill Road is a link between Towers Road and Greens Bottom Road, and we are pleased the contractor was able to re-open the roadway to through traffic,” said Craig Tajkowski, St. Charles County Engineer. “Even though the roadway is open, we advise motorists to remain alert as more construction will take place. Please drive slowly and cautiously around workers finishing the project in the spring.”

The section between Georgian Oaks Drive and Lakeview Drive was the last planned closure for the project.

The Caulks Hill Road project is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the county’s road system for the safety of the traveling public. The project included wider lanes and the addition of curbs, gutters and sidewalks.  The road alignment was also improved to provide better sight distance for drivers.
