Old Gutermuth Road to Close May 21-22 for Road Work

A portion of Old Gutermuth Road will be closed by the St. Charles County Highway Department beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, and continuing through Wednesday, May 22, 2013.

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO – A portion of Old Gutermuth Road will be closed by the St. Charles County Highway Department beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, and continuing through Wednesday, May 22, 2013, to allow for installation of a culvert pipe to improve drainage on and near the road. The entire road will be re-opened Wednesday, May 22, 2013, by 4:30 p.m. The construction area for the pipe crossing is located at the southwest end of Old Gutermuth Road where it meets the new Gutermuth Road.


No through traffic will be allowed through the area of the culvert pipe replacement. Motorists may take the northeast intersection of Gutermuth Road to access Old Gutermuth Road. Signs notifying motorists of the closure and detour route will be posted.
