The River City Rascals scored twice in the seventh inning to knock off Evansville 5-3 in a Frontier League contest Monday afternoon at Bosse Field.
The Rascals improved to 20-10 with their fourth successive win. They have Tuesday off before returning home to begin a six-game homestand on Wednesday with a 7:05 p.m. contest against the Florence Freedom at T.R. Hughes Ballpark.
Joash Brodin slammed a two-run homer to give River City the lead for good 4-3 against Evansville, which fell to a league-worst 6-24.
