High School Girls Basketball GAC Standings

Girls Basketball: Gateway North Conference

:  Duchesne High school beat Fort Zumwalt North on Thursday, 52 to 41 and topped St. Dominic earlier in the week with a 49-40 win. This week Duchesne will play in the Warrenton Shootout this week and starts out against Ft. Zumwalt North at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Alex Rohlfing is a scoring leader with 191 points and an average of 17.4 points per game.

: St. Charles is 9-3 overall after beating Warrenton on Thursday 55-34. Next Week, the Pirates will play Villa Duchesne (7-4) on Monday, Ladue (9-3) on Tuesday, and Ft. Zumwalt West (10-2) on Thursday.

:  Fort Zumwalt North lost to Duchesne High School on Thursday, 52 to 41 and lost to Timberland on Tuesday, 42-47. The team Ft. Zumwalt North will play in the Warrenton Shootout this week and starts out against Duchesne at 7:30 p.m. Monday.

: Fort Zumwalt East is 1-10 on the season.

: St. Charles West is 4-8 after losses to Ft. Zumwalt West, 26-56, and to Howell Central, 36-46, last week. Next week, the team plays Helias at Union on Tuesday. Sarah Berjer is a free throw leader with 27 out of 33 free throws made. Kacy Eschweiler is a blocked shot leader with 53 blocks.

Fort Zumwalt South is 7-8 after a win last week against Cleaveland NJROTC and a loss against McCLuer North and Westminster. Next week, the team will play Hazelwood West (6-4) on Tuesday and Holt (10-3) on Friday.

Girls Basketball: Gatway South Conference

Holt beat both North Tech and Francis Howell last week, improving to 10-3. Next week the team will play Ft. Zumwalt South on Friday.

  Zumwalt West is at 10-2 this week after beating St. Charles West, 56-26 and Lafayette, 47-28. The team plays Francis Howell on Monday and St. Charles on Thursday. Marina Laramie is a scoring leader in the area, with 211 points and an average of 17.6 points per game. She's also a rebound leader with 118 rebounds.

Timberland: Timberland beat Ft. Zumwalt North on Tuesday, 42-47.

  FHN beat Timberland on Friday, winning 51-40. The team lost to Hazelwood West on Tuesday, 39-50 and is now 4-8 overall. Next week, Francis Howell North will play in the Warrenton Shootout, and first takes on Orchard Farm who is 6-4 on the season.

Francis Howell:  Francis Howell is 7-7 on the season. Last week the team lost to Cor Jesu 57-83 and Holt 55-67. This week, the team will play Ft. Zumwalt West on Monday, which is 10-2. Whitney Adams is an area steal leader with 61 steals.

Francis Howell Central: The Spartans beat both St. Charles West, (46-36) and Warrenton (52-26) last week, improving to 10-2. Next week, the team will play in the Warrenton Shootout and first plays Ft. Zumwalt East on Monday. Sharese Jones is a scoring leader among St. Louis schools with 213 points and an average of 17.8 points per game.

Orchard Farm High School lost last week to Montgomery County, 34-60. Next week, the team plays Howell North in the Warrenton Shootout on Monday. The team is 6-4 overall.
