YMCA Early Childhood Education Center Grand Opening Set

YMCA's newest ECEC in St. Charles will host a grand opening Jan. 5.

The YMCA Early Childhood Education Center at Elm Point will hold a grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 5.

The center, located at 3601 Mueller Road, is the result of a merger between the YMCA Early Childhood Education Center and the Elm Point Early Childhood Education Center, which was owned by Lutheran Family and Children's Services.

The grand opening will include activities, giveaways, prizes and refreshments, along with tours of the age-specific classrooms and playgrounds, the gross motor skills room and the family resource room.  Twenty-six certified instructors will be on hand to explain the various programs and answer questions.
