St. Charles West Basketball Teams Raise Money for Cancer Research

Gate receipts from the games on Feb. 22 will be donated to the Siteman Cancer Research Center.

St. Charles West High School plans to donate receipts from the boys' and girls' basketball games on Friday to the Siteman Cancer Research Center.

the annual "Pink Out" event has raised several hundred dollars for charity between gate receipts, tshirt sales and contributions. This year, the expected donation is between $500 and $1,000 because gate receipts from both the girls' game and boys' game will be donated.

Proceeds will go to the Siteman Cancer Research Center.

Both the St. Charles West Varsity Girls team and the St. Charles West Varsity Boys team will play Ft. Zumwalt South High School on Friday. The girls game starts at 6 p.m. and the boys game starts at 7:30 p.m.
