Lindenwood University Named One of the Top Colleges to Work for 2012

The Chronicle of Higher Education recognized Lindenwood for the fourth time.

Lindenwood University was recognized by The Chronicle of Higher Education as one of the top colleges for which to work in 2012. 

This is the fifth year The Chronicle has highlighted colleges that are great places to work and this year 103 were recognized and evaluated in 12 categories.

The Chronicle highlighted two aspects of work life at Lindenwood University, collaborative governance and confidence in senior leadership. According to the story:

The president is returning power to the faculty. (His predecessor had abolished the Faculty Council.) The new version votes on every academic decision, including promotions and choice of textbook vendors.
