Jeff Marion Named New Superintendent of St. Charles School District

Marion is currently serving as the human resources director for the district.

St. Charles School District announced on Friday that Jeff Marion was chosen as the new superintendent for the school district.

Current Superintendent Randy Charles announced plans to retire at the end of the 2011-12 school year. Marion will assume his new duties July 1, 2012.

Marion has worked for the district as assistant superintendent of human resources for four years. Before that, he worked as a high school principal in the Pattonville School District.

 “We are pleased that Dr. Marion has been selected as our next superintendent! The overwhelming support for him from the staff, administration, Board of Education and the community during the interview process was evident. We look forward to his leadership and commitment to providing a strong educational format for the students of St. Charles,” Board President Linda Schulte said in a press release.

Marion holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia, a Masters Degree from Lindenwood University and an Educational Specialist Degree and a Doctoral Degree from St. Louis University.
