Lindenwood University Veterans Day Celebration

Lindenwood University will host a Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. Nov. 11, in the Elizabeth Dunseth Auditorium of Harmon Hall on the Lindenwood campus. The event will be free and open to the public.

President James D. Evans and Jann Weitzel, vice president for academic affairs and provost, will deliver remarks. United States Army Lieutenant Colonel James Craig will serve as the keynote speaker.

The ceremony will also feature an acknowledgement of veterans and remembrance of fallen soldiers. Members of the Lindenwood University Reserve Officers’ Training Corps will be present and a school quartet will perform.

“I think it’s our duty to provide this service for those who serve our country,” said Donna Simms, Veteran Affairs School Certifying Official. “It’s important to take time to recognize those who sacrifice for our nation.”
