Duchesne High School Hosts Food Truck Fling

Food Truck Fling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 26.

Several food trucks will serve up everything from Hawaiian Shaved Ice to Mexican street food to grown up grilled cheese at Duchesne High School Sept. 26.

The school will host a food truck fling from 5 to 8 p.m. as part of the Homecoming spirit week activities. Duchesne is located at 2550 Elm Street.

Emily Kuryla, director of annual giving and communications, said this is the first time the private school has brought food trucks in.

"It's an event that's really popular right now and we're always looking for way we can involve the community," she said. "This is kind of a no-brainer."

Food trucks will park in front of the school and tables and chairs will be set up outside. A portion of the proceeds will benefit student activities.
