Coverdell Students Collect Supplies for Animal Control

Students sold lemonade and delivered the items to the St. Charles Animal Control down the road.

First and fourth grade students from worked together to raise money and donations for St. Charles Animal Control. 

On Friday, the students walked around the corner to deliver the items. 

First grade classes took turns collecting donations from students and parents at the beginning of the school day. They organized donated materials, and graphed the results. The students.

Fourth grade students sold lemonade for $1 per cup during lunch and ran the stand like a business. Students found investors to buy supplies, set prices and did marketing to promote the effort. 

They collected $100 and many items from students and parents.

Resource teacher Kim Morgan, who organized the efforts, wrote in an email, "Coverdell definitely cares about pets and 'Paws for a Cause' was a huge success!"
