5.9 Earthquake in Mineral, Virginia

A 5.9 earthquake struck Virginia approximately 4 miles from the city of Mineral.

The Pentagon is being evacuated, presumably for safety purposes.

Michelle Lewis, located in Fort Lee, VA, stated, "It felt like our house was in a blender! My son, Micheal, loved it!"

Bobbi Rivera, of Virginia Beach, VA, was a bit more apprehensive about it, saying "I'm still shaking!"

Multiple other reports are still coming in about where everyone was, and damage reports have not yet been announced. Aftershocks are likely, but have not been said to have been felt yet.

In the meantime, I'll continue to hope that everyone was ok, and that structural damage was minimal.
