Eastbound traffic on Boone's Lick will close from 9 p.m. to midnight July 4.

St. Charles city will close several roads starting Thursday June 30 for the annual Fourth of July celebration in the city.

Riverfest celebrations have been moved from Frontier Park to the nearby Riverside Drive, to prevent damage to the park after heavy rains and high water on the Missouri River.

Starting at 12:01 a.m. Thursday, Riverside Drive between First Capitol and Pike Street will close to make room for the carnival rides. The street will reopen after the carnival is disassembled July 5.
