Incumbent Parkinson Wins Election to State Rep 105 District

Incumbent Republican Mark Parkinson overwhelmingly beat Democrat Debbie Bixler, winning 60.50 percent of the vote.

Republican Mark Parkinson overwhelmingly beat Democrat Debbie Bixler in the race for the State Representative from District 105. 

Parkinson won 60.50 percent of the vote to Bixler's 39.32 percent. 

Parkinson has represented District 16 since he won a special election in February 2008 against Democrat Tom Fann. Parkinson won reelection to the post in November 2008 and again in November 2010 when he beat Bixler taking 66.47 percent of the vote.

Parkinson is a former staffer for Christopher "Kit" Bond. Bixler is a retired post office worker.
