Poll Results: Most People Say They Want More Trails in New Park

Second community planning session for the new 110-acre park will be Wednesday.

The St. Charles Parks Department will hold a second community planning meeting for a new 110-acre park in northeast St. Charles on Wednesday.

The property was donated to the city by St. Charles County in 2000, but wasn't dedicated as parkland until earlier this year.

The Parks Department contracted with a firm to create a conceptual plan for the park. The firm has sought community input on the park.

At the second meeting on Wednesday, several schematic designs will be presented and participants will have a chance to offer feedback on the designs and rank the concepts. A third work session would be offered before the end of the year to draft a master plan.
